Climate and Vegetation~
The savanna is a rolling grassland with scattered shrubs and trees, and can be found between a desert and a tropical rainforest. There is not enough rainfall in this biome to support full grown forests so instead there are the shrubs. The average rainfall/ precipitation in the savannah is about 4 inches per year. The savannah has a long dry season during the winter and a long wet season during summer, and during the months of December and February no rainfall falls at all. The temperature stays nearly the same temperature year round.

Wildlife~
The Savannah is where the largest herbivores live, and where people can find "safari" animals at! Some of the animals are elephants, giraffes, gazelles, lions, hippos, cheetahs, crocodiles, and zebras. The animals coats don't really shed or change because the temperature stays the same all year, and the crocodiles are able to attack their prey under water by grabbing their legs or body parts, grasp on and use an ability to turn rapidly around to kill and drown their prey, this method is called the "death roll". The giraffes also have an adaptation to reach the tops of the tree to eat the leaves, their adaptation is their extremely long neck and long tongue.
